LinkedIn Executive Presence Management
Or, How I Use My Fancy Top 5 Film School Degree
When I did my masters at Emerson College in Boston, managing LinkedIn Executive and Founder accounts didn’t even enter my mind, because it was “Olden Times”. LinkedIn was just a glimmer in Reid Hoffman’s eye. But as it turns out, all that character development and screenplay training comes in pretty handy when it comes to developing the Voice of the Executive or Founder for LinkedIn.
I really love posting on LinkedIn! My friends think I have a strange sense of fun…
I Don’t Want To Do It. I Hate It.
Most Founders and Executives I work with didn’t get into their industry because they dreamed of writing punchy hooks and selecting the right emoji (only if applicable, of course!). They got into it to build a product, a company, a client base. Posting on LinkedIn usually lands somewhere around here:
I hate it
I don’t want to do it
I don’t have time
It’s not going to do anything, anyway
Plus, I hate it
I LOVE Posting on LinkedIn (no, for real though)
Great news! I LOVE posting on LinkedIn and I can do it for you:
easily
affordably
effectively
in Your Voice
And, it actually does make a positive impact, because Executive and Founder posts readily outperform most posts from their Company LinkedIn pages. According to an analysis of more than 8,000 LinkedIn posts from C-suite executives and founders (Forbes, Sept. 2025), posting two to three times a week generated up to 57% more engagement per post than posting just one a week.
Posts that have a “curiosity check” to get people really thinking engage the audience.
Showing up here and there doesn’t just underperform… it barely registers.
Or, as I like to think of it, Consistency Compounds ConnectionsTM. (See what I just did there? CLEVER.)
Some Reasons to Post on LinkedIn
People connect with other people, and company logos not so much (unless it’s me and Honda, I love Honda and have owned several). When you’re You telling Your Story and sharing your expertise and experience (but it’s really me doing all the heavy lifting), you’re creating genuine connection with your audience. Your name, your face and your insights are what earns the follow, the Comment, and often, the warm introduction.
Authentically sharing what you’ve learned gets people’s attention.
Your story, told authentically, is an investment in your reputation, as well as your business’s.
Thoughtful, strategic Commenting on other people’s posts (yes, I do that, too) also heightens your visibility in the marketplace.
How It Works: Easy Peasy
What you are reading here is My Voice (nope, AI didn’t write this, I did). So it sounds like me.
Because it’s me.
We chat about you, your business, your goals, who you like on LinkedIn, what type of posts resonate with you, what you want to avoid and why, and the story you want to tell. We look at what you’ve posted in the past (if you have). And we review your connections and who you want to engage with… and why.
Then, I handle the writing, the voice-matching, and the rhythm.
You handle being the expert you already are.
I keep track of metrics and share them with you in a monthly report.
If you hate posting on LinkedIn, or you’re too busy, or both, FANTASTIC! Because I really do love it, and I find it incredibly fun.
